MK Stalin and Anbumani Ramadoss engage in a dispute regarding allegations of bribery involving Adani and TANGEDCO.

MK Stalin and Anbumani Ramadoss

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss, leader of the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), have engaged in a contentious exchange regarding allegations involving the Adani Group and officials from the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO). This escalating dispute has brought to light accusations of corruption, calls for various investigations, and denials concerning purported clandestine meetings.

Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss challenged Chief Minister Stalin to agree to a Supreme Court-supervised or CBI-led inquiry into claims that TANGEDCO officials received bribes from the Adani Group. “It is reprehensible that while Tamil Nadu's reputation is being tarnished internationally, particularly in the USA due to allegations of bribery involving the Adani Group and TANGEDCO officials, the Chief Minister remains silent and fails to offer an explanation,” Ramadoss stated.
