Cognizant plans to increase its workforce to 2,000 for new TechFin center at GIFT City.

Cognizant, a prominent global technology and consulting firm, is significantly enhancing its operations in India through extensive recruitment and the establishment of new facilities. The organization is set to create thousands of employment opportunities in the fields of technology, engineering, and business services, highlighting its commitment to growth and innovation.

In Hyderabad, Cognizant is inaugurating a facility spanning 10 lakh square feet. This center will facilitate operations in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and other advanced technologies, with the potential to generate over 15,000 jobs, thereby reinforcing Hyderabad's importance in Cognizant's global strategy.

Additionally, a new TechFin center is expected to be launched in Gandhinagar’s GIFT City by February 2025. Initially, this center will employ 500 professionals and will concentrate on banking and financial technologies. There are plans to expand the workforce to 2,000 within three years, thereby enhancing Cognizant’s capabilities in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector.

The company has inaugurated its inaugural facility in Indore at Brilliant Titanium. Initially employing 1,500 individuals, the center is projected to expand its workforce to 20,000 in the future. This development represents a significant advancement in engaging with emerging technology hubs while enhancing local employment opportunities.

On a global scale, Cognizant currently has over 3,500 job vacancies. In India alone, there are more than 1,200 positions available for both seasoned professionals and recent graduates. The available roles encompass areas such as digital technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and enterprise solutions.

For recent graduates entering the technology sector, Cognizant is providing 151 entry-level positions. These roles focus on skill enhancement in digital services, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence, thereby establishing a robust foundation for their careers.
